Enjoying a glass of wine, whiskey or a good meal should be an experience. It is the moment when countless hours, days, months or even years of hard work and care culminates in a celebration of the senses.

To us, sharing good wine and food with friends or family can be one of the simplest yet most memorable pleasures in life. Traveling to many of Europe’s and America’s wine regions, we have sought insight into how such a seemingly simple fruit can be transformed into such a complex experience through back-breaking work, science, art, natural processes, and a bit of luck.
